Capricorn is not as worried as many others seem to be in 2017. And there might be more talk than action.

In 2017, the process of long and lasting change for Capricorn continues, as it has done and will continue to do for years. Just about everything will end up being very different from before. This is because of the planet Pluto passing slowly through the Capricorn Zodiac sign. It entered back in 2008 and will not exit Capricorn until 2024.

Then it takes well over 200 years until Pluto returns to Capricorn. Pluto moves the slowest through the Zodiac of all the planets. That is why its influence is so important and long-lasting.

Metamorphosis for Capricorn

The astrological nature of Pluto is one of metamorphosis. What the planet affects will change drastically, almost completely, and there will be no return to the previous situation.

It can be dramatic, also quite demanding and troublesome. But the fundamental changes Pluto triggers are necessary for personal development. As it passes through Capricorn, every person born in this Zodiac sign will experience this change at some point.

Since Pluto is also in Capricorn in the World Horoscope based on the New Year, it will have a similar influence on society as a whole, and for just as long.

For society, it means that home and family structures change completely, because Pluto is in the 4th House of the World Horoscope. The way families live – and where they live – will not be the same. Families as such, the groups they form and the relations they have within them, will also be very different from what it was in previous centuries.

It is like the whole of society, as its population experience it daily, is rebuilt.

For the individual Capricorn, it is about the same. The structure of your life is reformed to the point where it has almost no similarity to how it was before. You change home, family and other basic everyday routines, and never look back.

As a Capricorn, you can use the Pluto influence to cause major changes also outside everyday life things. Aim high and see where your ambition gets you.

The slowest of the planets is Pluto, taking almost 250 years to go through the Zodiac. Pluto entered Capricorn in 2008 and stays there until the start of 2024.

Pluto Striking Differently

Since Pluto moves so slowly, the Capricorns affected the most are those with the sun of their birth chart at Pluto’s position in the sign at the time. In the period 2008-2024, every Capricorn will have experienced it completely, but when that happens depends on their birth date.

Still, all through the Pluto presence in the sign, every Capricorn will always be touched by the Pluto effect in some or other way.

In 2017, the Capricorns experiencing Pluto’s drastic influence the most are those born between the 7th and the 11th of January, approximately.

But again, every Capricorn will feel it to some extent.

Nothing as Spectacular

Because Pluto is so important and has such a tremendous effect, nothing even the least bit as spectacular happens to Capricorn during the year.

But even taking your personal horoscope into account, you will probably find little comparing to Pluto’s influence – especially when it is close to the position of the sun in your birth chart. As stated above, for 2017 this means those born on the 7th to the 11th of January.

I would be surprised if their personal horoscopes show a more remarkable event in 2076 than what Pluto is causing.

Not only Pluto repeats its presence in Capricorn for a number of years. So does the sun – and that goes on until the world decides on a calendar change. This is indeed a Capricorn era.

The sun in the world horoscope tells how society of our time can be described in a general way. And that’s Capricorn, the builder. Society is seen as a big project of construction. Bigger, better, higher. It has become the motto in just about every country. Any Capricorn can relate to that.

Mercury has a trine (120°) aspect to the north Moon Node in Virgo, and therefore also a sextile to the south Moon Node in Pisces. That means Capricorns find themselves easily agreeing to the general views in society. It also means they can find wide support for their own views and comments. Capricorns seem to know where it’s at, nowadays.
